Checking in on Carlo this morning! I see he had a long walk yesterday...what an amazing guy he is! :)

He remains in my thoughts and prayers. :)

Steve, just catching up on sweet Carlo :) - I'm so glad to see he is handling this all so well! And, went on a 2 mile walk, this is so great. Keep it up, Carlo, we're all pulling for you!

Thank you, all of you! He is impressing me like you would not believe. He is getting stronger each day, and is much better than before the surgery a month ago. Eating, walking, playing, and prowling the fence line. Friday he gets another shot, and a more in-depth blood panel. Then, he will get another Ultrasound, and will start on the last 4 shots over an 8 week period.

Today it is raining, but whenever I go to the door, he runs for it, thinking we are going for a walk. I know his immune system is comprimised with the Chemo, so he will have to stay in. Maybe later today.

Maxine is ruling from the couce, and allowing him in her family room.

I get such a kick out of your Carlo updates :D I'm so glad that he is doing so well and getting back to his old self. Maxine is just a trip acting like a typical Yorkie Princess :rolleyes:

After each of your updates I always picture the dog in the pedigree commercials with that deep husky voice saying, "MORE WALKS!!!"

Glad to hear Carlo is feeling good after all the chemo, I keep him in my prayers.

He is a tuff old son of a gun. I take him in tomorrow for his 4th Chemo Shot, and more involved blood work. He is doing real well, and after I run the woods, I will take him for a 1 mile walk.

I'm thinking of Carlo today as he goes in for his 4th treatment. I hope he is doing well today, can't wait to hear about his walk:cool: and I'm sure he can't wait to go! Let us know.

Just got back from the Animal Hospital with Carlo. He got his 4th Chemo shot and a complete blood work up. The big guy is doing outstanding. Blood work looks good, exam looks great, and he is handling the Chemo and Prednisone real well. He also got a B-12 shot and he gained 3 more pounds since last week. He is almost back to his normal weight prior to his surgery and the Chemo.

Now he starts on one Chemo shot every other week. However, he still will need to go in for a blood test weekly. Next week he also will get an X-Ray and an Ultra Sound done. Everyone at the Hospital has fallen in love with the big goof.

Great news, I wasn't expecting to hear such success with Carlo, I guess treatment has improved so much in the last 10 years. Praying for continued success!

Aw, Carlo :aimeeyork! I think everyone here has fallen in love with him too :D.

Carlo's prize that he won in the raffle, a Large Himalayan Chew arrived. He enjoyed it for all of 2 minutes, and then it was no more. I figured since it was hard and large, it would last for a while. He swallowed the last of it, and looked at me as if to say go get me another one. Guess I will take him for a walk as the rain has stopped.
