after neuter My 7 months old Yorkie/Lhapso apso was neutered on Monday, he was find that night, pooped once, then on Tuesday he did not poop all day...then this morning Wednesday he vomited in the AM, eat very little, pooped once during the day, We brought him to the vet and they said give him Pepsid OTC, they gave him some Pepsid via shot, the vet thought that my dog might have a "sensitive" stomach, tonight we had to go to my daughters softball game, so we had to leave him in his crate for 1 1/2 hours. When we came home he had vomited in his crate. Is there something we should be watching for???? Thanks Barry

| Maybe you should give your vet another call today. Are you giving him pain meds too? This might cause an upset tummy. You can also add a little canned pumpkin to his food for the upset tummy. Make sure it is canned PACKED PUMPKIN and not the pie filling. It is sold in the grocery store in the baking isle. Hope he is feeling better very soon and please keep us updated.

yeah, go into the vet, so they can tell me that he has a sensitive tummy....That will be $60.00 thank you..... .....no thank you. Since, he is only 3 days post-op all this should be covered with the $500 neutering charge. I will see how he does today...he has not eaten or drinken yet today,

Did you have labs done before the surgery? Im shocked to hear it cost you 500$ to get your dog neutered.

Brought him to the vet and they did x-rays and it was a bowel obstruction in the small intestines, so he had to have surgery today...poor guy, two surgeries in one week.
