please help me I just picked up a piece of pennys poop and pulled out a huge worm im so scared i donno what to do shes been on dewormer from the vet as a preventitive and now she has it i thought it was to PREVENT them ...is she gonna be ok im gonna explode im so scared |
hmm that is scary but i believe dewormer is to help rid of the worms inside if they have it. that is from my understanding. So the dewormer is doing it's job. I could be wrong. |
the doctor never said hey she has worms lets treat her she just said puppies are supposed to have worm treatment so here u go i gave her the last dose this morning ..im so scared and shes freaked out cause i am |
When was she giving the dewormer? |
SHe must have had worms. That is normal for her to poop them out after her dewormer. |
she had her first dose on the 9th her 2nd today it was dead skinny and long looks EXACTLY like cooked spaghetti |
She should be fine. I know it is scarry and nasty but it is normal. Relax so she can relax with you:) |
well i think most puppies have worms for the most part...and dewormer is to release these worms...from my understanding....i know it may be scary i had witness a pitbull puppy after had their dewormer poop out a worm...and it was scary but was fine afterwards |
they should all come out dead right...its so gross im not girlie about worms or anything but there crawling around in her ....what if one gets stuck half way out should i let it hang there isnt it dangerous to pull them out (gag) this is so nasty i can watch autopsy's but i cant pull a dead worm outta my babies poop :thumbdown:thumbdown:thumbdown:thumbdown |

It will not hurt her to pull one out if it gets stuck. Yuck, but she will be ok. You might not notice anymore but then again you might for a day or 2. Make sure that you keep her and her poo area clean so she don't get reinfested. |
My vet told me to expect to find worms in the poop after I wormed my litter. Everything should be ok. |
Any puppy that we had that had worms, they always pooped them out after being dewormed, its how they get rid of them. Ive seen them live and dead. Your dog will be fine. |
