I, too, will be starting the probiotics (human grade) when I receive them. She is on the one prescribed by the vet right now. I discussed it with him and while he said he did not have another yorkie on that type of regiment, he was not opposed. I hope it does well for them both - Thanks again, Joanne! Huggs |

Hope your little one's feel better soon... Hi Denise, I'm so sorry for not posting more often about Zoey. These surgeries can be a little rough on our little one's and sometimes it just takes a while for them to be 100% I'll keep your little one's in my prayers. You take care of yourself, Kathleen |

Thanks again! |
Denise, Zoey is just as important as any of our furbys. I'll be trying to keep up with your updates and pray the little one improves everyday and everyone stays well. Kathleen |
Oh yes yes, if course. I was just referring to the severity and how we sometimes get grounded when hearing of others difficulties. Kathleen, you are very kind - as many people here are and I thank you. |
*of course |
FYI, clostridium perfringens is one of the causes of HGE: Hemorrhagic Gastroenteritis (HGE) Merck Veterinary Manual |

Thank you so much for the information. |
Be watchful of her with the Metronidazole. That stuff is really hard on their little tummies. |

Lady's had it three times. The key is to run to your vet asap as it can be fatal within hours. Terrifying disease. |
