| Discoloration Hi all!! Sorry to bother you with another question. Zoe had a cut under his mouth and it appears to be healing, however his bottom mouth are seems to be discolored. It used to be black but the scabs came off and now its whitesh pink. thank you!

| Skin under a scab is new skin and will not have the same properties as older skin. Given time, the color may or may not return to its original state, depending on the severity of the wound. Keeping a wound moist will help it heal quicker. Use of Antibiotic ointment or even plain Vaseline will do the trick.

| I did not understand the question fully??? It may just be what the second post explained. Your explanation is a bit confusing. Do you have a picture you could post?
