OMG! I am so very sorry for your loss! I am just shocked that poor Minnie was not safe in her own home! I cannot imagine what you have gone through by coming home to such a nightmare! |

I agree!! Let the news people get ahold of this. See what they can do. |
My heart breaks for you and your family. Over the years, I have read of a lot of horrendous things happening to little Yorkie babies. This is, without a doubt, the most senseless death I believe I have ever heard of! I cannot even begin to imagine your horror and grief. People like this should not be allowed to own an animal and certainly should not be allowed to go unpunished! You and your family have every right to live in peaceful co-existence with your neighbors and there must be a law somewhere to protect your rights. God bless and comfort you and your family. RIP sweet Minnie. |
i am so sorry for your loss and may she rest in piece. is there a way u can hire a lawyer and sue these people for their neglect and for causing you emotional stress and heartache. best of luck |
How terrible I am so sorry about Minnie, may the lord bless her & keep her. I don't know what else to say....this is unbelievable and so tragic. |

Also with news attention, a lawyer who loves animals may offer his/her services to you or at least help you in some form. My heart goes out to you and your family and I pray that Minnie can rest in peace knowing her mommy is doing everything possible to serve justice. |
Thank you all for the love and support. It feels so wonderful knowing that people out there care, especially after the treatment we got from the autorities and animal control. We are moving ahead in seeking justice for Minnie, I will keep you all updated on the outcome. Again, thank you, I come and read through all of your messages of love and support and it brings a tear to my eye that people know Minnie's story and she will never be forgotten. |
So sorry for your loss. This is an incredible story. Never ever in a million years would I have thought that something this horrible could happen. Minnie is beautiful and my prayers go out to you :) |
I had a similar experience this past December. My husband took our 2 dogs out, Harley and Isabel. Izzy saw some dogs at the back of the property (we live on 2 acres) and she took off. He took off after her, forgetting about Harley. When Harley realized what was going on, he took off and met the male dog (a husky) who attacked him and wounded him so severly, he died the next day at the emergency vets. I never thought to call animal control, but a friend did a couple days later. The Officer was wonderful; she pursued this case to the very end. She had the owner served with a court order. He hired an attorney who was surprised she showed up in court. She told him it was her job to protect the animals in our county and support the owners. Bottom line, I did get some compsenation for my monetary loss and the owner of the vicious dog (whom he transported to Florida to get him out of her reach) is prohibited from owning any dog for 3 years. Did it bring Harley back? No and it still breaks our hearts, he was such a baby, a sweet, easy going guy unless something threatened Isabel. But I did get the satisfaction of causing this guy time, trouble, and money. Our animal control officer is just wonderful and I never appreciated how wonderful until I read this post. She takes her job very seriously. She did not give up, it took her almost 6 months to find the guy and bring him to court. Good luck in however you pursue this and pursue it you will have to do. |
Local NEWS covering story! The news wants to do a story on our ordeal called "Minnie's Story" they are going to send a crew out for interviewing. Does anyone have any advice on what I should say and emphasize on the broadcast? Like what to say what not to say. Thanks for the help. |
