No he said to bathe her once every two weeks!!! But I have doing in weekly because she is outside quite a bit...He also recommended Johnsons Baby shampoo, we are currently using Biogroom~but dd recommended Dr. Bronner's Mild Unscented Baby shampoo.

Yes, DEE DEE does have it bad, Tootsie only has 3 small bumps on her underside...thanks for the tip~I will try bathing her every 3 days and see if that helps...

Thanks much I will give it a try...I bathe Lexi usually every 5-6 days but will try more often to see if that helps.

yes, Im sure Lexi will be feeling better soon, we will keep her in our prayers...It's only been 3 days since Tootsie's been to the vet and I can already tell a big difference...We have also put her on Sweet Potato and Venison Natural Balance food which dwerton suggested. Tootsie loves it and I can already tell a difference in the texture and sheen in her coat...

and yes the staph is different in dogs than humans BUT my vet said they are seeing mrsa staph in dogs now and probably because they over prescribe antibiotics so the dogs become immune to them :(
I know that is a big controversy right now~ over medicating dogs with antibiotics and shots for immunities...I had one vet tell me that Tootsie needed a series of 3 bordatella shots because she was a puppy. My second opinion which is my vet now suggested only 1 shot yearly..

yeah i titer and have for years and do not do bordatella as kennel cough can be treated with antibiotics
