Oh, and I know Olive Leaf extract works for staph and I know dogs can take it I just don't know the dose. I have been searching for it but have had no luck.

I opened it and drained it 3 times, the 3rd time I opened it and drained it I put a Chamomile tea bag on it and by morning it was about 90% better and in a few days it was healed. It only matters for use inside the body as to what kind of tea you use for diff conditions. Except allergy skin.

cool so geen tea or chamomille will work?

Thank-you lillymae , My poor Miley is now her old self , We did the happy dance yesterday after 3 days of the Chamomile Tea Rinse. It work, we have try everything the vet gave me, nothing, I tell you nothing work after so much $$ on different meds. Here came a tea and it's cheap and it works, OMG !!!! I follow lillymae directions to the teeth Lol !:D
I gave Miley a bath with her shampoo, I than rinse her with the tea, Now she didn't like the rinse in room temp, so I warm it a little, and she was fine, The first time I pour it all over her, and dry her hair she smell good, and the hair was shinny and soft. The next day I wash the whole area on her bottom side where she had Ha ! Ha ! a very big problem. And after the rinse, I lay the 4 bags of tea on her and she felt aspleep in my arm for 10 min while we waited , I just sat there and cry , if she only knew how much I have pray we find something to help her. On the 3rd day again the wash on the bottom and 10 more min. And I wish I would have taken a photo before and after, You would not belived it , unless u saw it youself, It WORK and we r doing the happy dance. I'm now going to her vet today , and show her, and tell her, she should start telling her clients to use this tea, Max is do for shots today so we r going later this afternoon.
Please try it ! U can always stop if u don't like it, but it just might make u and your furbaby a happy camper. Thank-u again lillymae, I'm so happy I found YT site , U can't buy the help and information u get here from so many Yt owners and our good breeder , that are always jump in to help any way they can . Thank-u to all of u out there, I'm so happy today ! I been crying since yesterday , but it's a happy cry .
God Bless U all ! Keep up the good fight !!!
Love , Kisses and Hugs

ok so chamomille is what is best for allergy skin as my fear is she has an allergic reaction like she always does as i will die if she gets hives :( maybe i will try a little tea bag on one area to see how she does rather than the whole body what do you think? also do i blow dry her after the rinse? should the rinse be warm water to open pores and allow chamomille to get in? also it is not toxic is it to dogs -- sorry to be so paranoid but i have been through the ringer with this girl

manina 08-19-2009 07:10 AM

Ok, I'm just as bad as u , I'm very paranoid when it came to Miley, I have been going thu this since she was 1yr old , she is 3 now. Yes the vet gave her med's and it work for a little while , but nothing like this, u can see it right away, I stared the first evening and on the 2nd day and 2nd rinse, I noticed a big different it wont hurt her. Yes give her a bath and after her bath please rinse with warm tea water after u rinse put the use tea on her , wait please at least 10 mintues, than blow dry her . She will be ok. Next day only rinse where she has problems, miley has only all her bottom side , like under her arms , on her belly and private parts that's where I rinse the 2nd day and put the used tea bags, I didn't blow dry her on the 2nd day. I wash again with shampoo her bottom side and rinse and put the tea bags agin and didn't blow dry , she looks like a different baby she is running all over and not crying and itchy after the 3rd rinse. Please pm lillymae, she help me so much. When I say Rinse, please don't wash it off just rinse and leave it on her to air dry or blow dry.
It won't hurt her, u should try it , If u want to start in a little area, do that what ever help u help her will work . Ask lillymae what else you can do , she knows more about this then me, she has been using this for over 15 years and has a few furbabies. Hope all turns out ok, I will pray for u and your baby pls keep me post after u try it. Give it a few days to work.
On the tea bags , I take 4 bags and I let it sit in a coffee cups for at least 1hr or more. Than I take the bags out and leave them on the side. I get a gallon and put in the tea w/out the bags , I use warm water, you know like bath water and fill the gallon and give her a bath with her shampoo, and I rinse real good with reg water. after that I pad dry her and pour this tea rinse all over her and I turn her around and put the bags on the spots,
on her bottom and wait 10 min. While I wait I cry I pray that's just me that how bad it's been with her. she puts her head on my arm and sleeps, while we wait. I cover her so she doesn't get cold and she is in the sink and I just stand there with her. The next day again , I just rinse the bad area and put the tea bags again and wait 10 min and pad dry.
Wishing u and your furbaby the best of luck !!!
Will keep u in our prayer.

Totally non-toxic to dogs and yes warm water. They can drink it for gas and tummy ache. Also if your dog has allergy eyes let the rinse get into the eyes it relieves dry itchy eyes too. It works even when the eye irritation is caused by yeast. I know how you feel trying new things, but that's how I discovered the chamomile works. I too spent hundreds and watched as my poor Gracie suffered and I tried the tea out of desperation. I got it out of ( The Encyclopedia of Natural Pet Care). I'm telling you that book was worth every penny.

lillymae 08-19-2009 07:40 AM

And you can blow dry or not it's your call. I do both depending on the weather.

Did you try the tea bag yet? I know how you feel about trying something new. That's how I felt the first time I tried it too, but I thank God I did it. You never know what kind of a reaction they will have to anything till you try it. So just bite the bullet Deb and do it. Go Deb! Go Deb! Go Deb! Go! Ha Ha Ha.

As with any thing used for the 1st time there is always the chance of a reaction weather the tenancies are there or not. I'm betting you will be pleased and kicking yourself in the buttocks for not trying it sooner as I did. Did you get it from the health food store in purest form you could find? I'll be waiting for your response after her bath. I'm probably as anxious as you are about results, as I can not stand to know any living thing is suffering.

lol no pressure lol -- ok i have good earth chamomille tea and it says chamomille flower as only ingredient is this good -- i am a chicken huh -- i am going to just put a little tea bag on one spot to make sure lol i am so nervous of her getting hives :( as she is such an allergic dog

lillymae 08-23-2009 11:39 AM

It's ok to be chicken lol and what you got is good. I would do as you said and apply the teabag to one area like on her tummy so you have a clear spot that's visable so you can keep an eye on it. I think you will know within an hour or so if she's going to have a reaction. If she does then use whatever shampoo you use for her and wash it good. I wish I could be there to hold your hand because I know how you are feeling.

Chamomile aka "Manzanilla" has muscle relaxant properties; thus it does help an upset tummy. Don't give it internally to your dogs regularly, though; because it greatly reduces IQ points in human children.

Enough to thoroughly wet her and throw out any unused portion.
Do not rinse off, dry as usual.

I can almost assure you it's ants(pesky things)The same thing happend to our little guy and I thought it looked like bites. I checked our back yard and found a fire ant hill in the spot where Toby greets my neighbor's dogs.My neighbor checked his Lab and she was covered in bites. I hate ants.:mad:They are the only of God's creatures I will go out of my way to kill.
