Teeth extractions
 
:mad::lol tearsI have a four year old Yorkshire terrier that I have taken to have here teeth cline. My vet has extracted four of her front teeth without discus with me. Is that was necessary?
Can teeth implants for dogs?

Yes, you will need to have these teeth pulled.

Not a dumb question at all. If you don't plan on breeding him you should have him fixed. You know that saying ( If you don't use it you loose it ) well it's not just a saying.

Yes they do have specialist that do implants for dogs, but it's very expensive. Where I went it was a couple thousand per tooth and it's basically cosmetic so we decided against it. Imagine that Huh.

Any operation with anesthesia is going to be expensive. I am going to pay $500 for a teeth cleaning next week. If there are any extractions involved (I don't think there will be) that's extra. So I don't think the $700 for the spay/teeth pulling is out of line.

These expensive medical costs are all part of being a responsible pet owner. I hope more people who are thinking about getting a pet read this before making their final decision.

this is true -- i have 3 and over 20k in vet and dental bills. I go to specialists for things such as dental and my dd had 6 extractions and a teeth cleaning with a dentist and it was 1200 -- It is not cheap for vet care sadly :( and i want the safes approach to everything

usually they lose the front teeth due to bone loss as there is little bone in small dogs jaw so tooth loss will happen if any gum disease gets to bone and why dentals done at minimum at 3 years of age per our dentist
