they are treating her as if this is rat poison :( it concerns me as you say no way this could have happened and sounds to be true so why are they treating for poison still with vitamin k - if they did not do a full cbc panel that would be the first thing i had done as they may tell you what is going on as sounds like they first did worm and parasite treatment, now treating for rat poison and sounds like they are all over the place without a blood panel :( when dd was going to be treated for ulcer the meds the vet was going to use were cerenia (anti-vomitting), reglan(metoclopramide), sulcrulfate(coats tummy), and amoxicillin (antibiotic)
i would take copies of everything and go to internal medicine as they will get to the heart of the problem much faster than a vet as they have further education and sounds like you have uoft near you which is an excellent facility |
