Sam doesn't feel good Gosh I cannot stand it when his lil body doesn't feel good! Last night when I came home, he had runny light colored poop. Luckily, he did it all on his potty pad. He hadnt ate so I took up the food and gave him some cottage cheese. Seemed fine, held it down, we went to bed. This morning he has not pooped (normally does so about 7am). I didnt want to give him normal food so I gave him some more cottage cheese. He ate just a little then threw up twice. He threw quite a bit so it appears that he threw up what he ate last night. He is not lethargic but not playing either. He did attempt to kill the neighbors earlier and helped me discpline Martin:rolleyes: I just hate it when he is sick:( |
Try some digestive enzymes. |
Poor little guy I hope hes feeling better soon. you might give him a little canned pumpkin for the runny stools. If it keeps up he needs to see a vet |

Aw, I hope he feels better soon! :( |
so wild as i was thinking of sam today as he is on our calendar for this month and something drew me to check here today and the little guy is sick :( organic pumpkin from whole foods. Let his tummy rest maybe offer him a little chicken and white rice - cottage cheese could be too rich and some dogs are lactose intolerant so may upset his tummy more. if you have a vitamin shoppe near u get dds plus probiotics mix 2 capsules in a 1/2 tsp of organic pumpkin and give 30 min before chicken and rice. The dds plus is non-dairy probiotic |
Poor Sam... I'm sorry he's feeling ill. Be sure to update us on his condition. |

Oh no! Poor Sam. Give him hugs and kisses from Gizzy and Kandi. |
Digestive Enzymes I use Super Digestaway by Solaray, they carry it in most healthfood stores. I open the cap and just sprinkle a little on the food. It's comparable to( All Zyme). If you can't find either one of those ask what they have that's comparable to them. Hope your baby feels better soon. |

Well, still no poop. I gave him some solids and took him for a short walk but it is already sticky hot outside. I didnt want to get him overheated. He tried to eat off of Nana's plate (scrambled eggs) so thats a good sign. |

Sam of course starts turning in circles and getting all kinds of excited! He was jumping and spinning! So I start praising him, saying Yay for Poop!! Yay for Sam poop! Luckily my friend understands that I am completely obsessed with Sam and he didnt make comment about me being so EXCITED over poop!!! |
lol we were the same with demi lol -- we were walking out to go to dinner and we saw her do the spinner so we had to hang out and man that was the largest poop we ever saw lolllllll we do the poopy dance alot here just dealt with diarhea for a week with dd ughhhh |
how is sam doing today? hope he is feeling better. milu's been having runny poop, i took her to the vet and did a poop test, but they didn't find anything. i tried pumpkin and it worked for her, but her poop is still a little tiny bit runny, the vet told me to give her immoduim A/D if she still has runny poop, i just started giving it to her yesterday. so far so good. you might want to give sam some pedialyte to make sure he stays hydrated if he is having a lot of diarrhea. |
