Guess what, they do not scream in pain if it is broken. The only time that my kid screamed was when he fell. They are tough little guys and as long as you are carrying him or he is not putting any weight on it, they don't usually complain. Me and the kids are praying and sending hugs and kisses to you guys. |
OH MY! As soon as I saw it wa Buddy my heart jumped and skipped a beat. I'm so glad it isn't something worse. I am so glad he is OK. I always have a special place in my heart for Buddy as he and my Teddy are so much alike. It just goes to show even the bif guys can get hurt. You tell Buddy to take it easy and get better. |

Awwww Jeri, thank you so much for that sweet comment. He's back to normal today. Wish I knew exactally what the heck he did to prevent it from happening again. I think if he was small this could have been a disaster. He wanted to play fetch this am but I ignored him. Talk about a dirty look! They are so funny. I'm just one happy mommy today. Have a great day, |
So proud to hear Buddy's injury doesn't reqire surgery, get well soon sweet baby |
Carol, I am just seeing this. Buddy is such a little Trooper and I surely hope he will be alright. Imagine wanting to play ball this morning:) I will be thinking of you both and praying it works out well. |
Whew. When I first saw the "headline" I got a knot in my stomach. Glad Buddy is ok. Just needs to take it easy, right, for a while. My two are always leaping off the double pillow bed mattress or from the back of the couch. |
He's Ok, That's GREAT:) |
Can't believe I'm only just seeing this thread! Poor Buddy :( He sounds like he's being such a brave boy......thinking of you both and praying for a great outcome xxx xxx  xxx |
Aw Bud :(! Poor guy. I'm glad to hear it wasn't something worse than a soft tissue injury. I bet he'll be back to his mischevious self in no time. Hugs to the Bud! :) |
Checking in for an update and glad to hear Buddy is better today!!! :) Also was good to read more about the Frontline vs. Vectra 3D ... I was all set to check in with the vet for the Vectra but now I'm not going to....the whole tick thing is so discouraging isn't it? Nancy, limping is a definite sign of Lime disease in dogs. I think it can actually go undetected for some time....A well known dog trainer in our area raises German Shepherds and unfortunately had no idea one of his dogs had contacted Lime until he started limping one day and by then, the disease was too far along to treat him.:(. I hate ticks!!! |

This is just a sample of how we learn from YT.(re: limping & Vectra) I'm with you, I hate Ticks as well. It's scary to think something so tiny can cause so much damage. Lymes, undetected, can go to the kidney's and then there is no hope. |
hi hope buddy feels better :animal-pa |
Best Wishes I really hope your baby gets better. Mine tore a ligament not so long ago, jumping from the bed. So we had to buy him stairs. & he hasent gotten hurt since then. I know how bad it feels...I wish he gets better soon |
Sorry to hear that Buddy had an injury, but very thankful that he seems to be recovering nicely. |
Glad to know little Bud is ok, hugs:animal-pa |
