| mimi spay aftercare question Hello Yt famz, I wanted to know, after how many days can i take off the Elizabethan collar off Mimi.? She got spayed last Thursday and it would make 10 days today (Saturday). On the paper it says it is ok to take them off after 10 days but should I keep it on for few more days or just take it off today?

| I would take it off and see if she is trying to lick or bite at the incision site. We never had a collar and he never messed with his incision. |

| Do you have a follow up with the vet soon? Maybe the vet can tell you if it has healed enough. |

Donating YT 500 Club Member | If it's been ten days, I would think you could take it off. Has her incision healed? If it has healed and even if she licks there some, as long as she isn't biting, she'll be okay.
