| Tiny gina Well, I took Gina to the vet because she was rubbing her tiny tush on the grass. The vet told me she had an infection, then gave me some antibiotics to be given twice a day.. Also, some cream to put on her tush twice daily. I should also have told him to give her a deworming medication. What do you think? Gosh, my two yorkies have cost me a bundles, but they are worth every penny of it. Sometimes I just put them in a car and drive around so they can get a ride. I am a senior citizen and these doggies give me a lot of joy. Tks.

| If she was dragging or scooting her bottom along the ground, she probably had full anal glands. It's not a sign of worms. If she continues to scoot or drag her bum, you can ask the vet to express her anal glands and also show you how to do it. It's not hard to do and gives them instant relief. |

| Actually if they have tape worm they will scoot when they are passing segments of the worms. Do they have fleas? |

| Was it her little behind you are talking about? Anal glands, and yes, some worms they can skoot the butt and after going to the bathroom they can do it. But if the infection is on her little butt, I'm hoping that the vet will squeeze her little glands after the infection clears. I'm not sure, others here would know, if you can squeeze the glands while a full infection is rampant on the little ones. Keep us posted as to how she is doing ok? Carol and Jemma |
