He ate mashed potatos last night, but today no go...

I am gonna get a real one and slice it and bake them and I hope to be able to bake some canned pumpkin too for him to eat. He is just such a brat with what he will and won't eat - so this is hard...

If it smells the same, that kind of makes me wonder about IBD.
When he had IBD before, did he get giardia first?

I'd stay with something very, very lean like white meat chicken or turkey breast (with no drippy grease touching or draining into it). You could also just go to a carb like mashed potato or sweet potato.

The pumpkin actually tends to make Ellie's soft stooler even softer.
Hopefully it works better for him.

Does he like rice? toast?

We tested his poop over and over back then, and nothing :(

The Vet suggested the Metro, but TJ didn't do well on it last time....IDK - maybe I should have got it anyway :confused:

Yeah - I don't think he will touch the pumpkin.

The rice he spit out yesterday.

Is toast ok? He really may eat that :confused:

oh Nicole am so sorry TJ is sick . . .I know how it feels not to know what is wrong . .I pray it is just something he ate :( . . .you both are in my thoughts and prayers.

Thanks. No parvo test....

We just did the parvo titer on Sat and results came back good for both parvo and distemper.

Mine won't eat rice unless there's chicken in it. I tired feeding it alone and they all said...are you nuts? We want rice AND CHICKEN.

Sometimes intestional issues take awhile before they clear up.

I really don't see how bread would hurt him.
I'd give something with no seeds and probably not a sweet type but just place wheat bread or toast shouldn't hurt.

hi there, im sorry to hear TJ is so sick. i do hope it isnt anything serious and he does pick up soon! i stopped at this thread because TJ is my sons name! lol.. i will pray for your baby tonight.x:)

ok. I am gonna get some plain bread and give him some toast tonight. I will also bake some plain potato slices and try boiled chicken again.

Oh, the rice was mixed in with chicken and cottage cheese, he was able to eat all that AND spit out rice pieces :rolleyes:
