Just got back - his adrenal glands and kidneys "looked beautiful and perfect" :D :D :D. So, this is good news.

I won't get the results of the ACTH until Monday - so at that time we'll find out if it's pituitary cushings...or not. And whether or not we can let Deb say "told you so!" :p.

They didn't end up shaving down his mid-back - instead they shaved his tummy and then up the sides of torso....but you can hardly tell bc his other fur hangs down...so it's more like a traditional mohawk if anything. :p

I'm gonna go cuddle with him... :)

I am so glad that Wylie's test have come back from some good news. I didn't see this yesterday and started reading what was going on and then realized that the post was originally from Monday and his test was today. Skip ahead to page 5 and I am relieved to hear you received good news about your little guy........I almost feel like I cheated.:p But anyway I am so glad to hear that things are much better than your fears yesterday.

Ann, good for you for going with your gut instinct. I think too many people are willing to accept a vet's diagnosis of "nothing". I really hope everything works out for you.

Your thread could not have come at a better time. Zeke has sensitive skin to begin with and he has been gnashing at his butt end and hind quarters a lot recently. Also, he's been drinking more water and just not the Zeke of a few months ago. You have given me some other things to ask about when I take him into the vet's this afternoon. Must really care for the little guy. Get off mid shift, grab a couple hours of sleep, off to the vets, grab a couple more hours of sleep then back to work.
Glad that you were persistent, followed your gut feelings and the current vet is in jeopardy of losing a client.
