Oh my gosh! I am amazed by your story and so happy for you. It hits home bc my Mom died of primary liver cancer when she was 44 - and they never could figure out why on earth she got it (bc she didn't drink). It is pretty much always terminal bc it's diagnosed so late/misdiagnosed -- and once you wait too long, no liver transplant can be done. I am really touched by your story and wish you a long life of great health :)!

Thanks to everyone for their wonderful comments and encouragement. It's kind of odd that I feel so positive, but I think the reason I do feel so positive about the prognosis is because all of the positivity in this thread. It's infectious, so thank you :).

Glad you found some answers; I'm a huge believer in flax seed for all sorts of things. Hope it helps!

So, Ann you now have a diagnosis...a treatment plan...and a positive attitude. I know Wylie is in the best of hands possible, and he's in great spirits...a happy, rambunctious little guy. I too am a great believer of flax seed...I'm hoping and praying that it is just the ticket for Wylie to beat this. Keep up the good work Ann...Wylie is counting on you!

Ann I am just reading this for the first time today and of course just like everyone else I am very saddened to hear that Wylie has any health problem at all....but I know that you are a super special person and that Wylie will get the best of care and he WILL beat this thing.......keep positive and all the good karma coming...

I'm sad to hear that Wylie has Cushings, but thank goodness you caught it early and that Wylie is acting so normal and energetic! I'll pray he overcomes this and has no reoccurence! Hugs to you! Wylie's so lucky to have you!

Thanks to EVERYONE who has been so supportive during this ordeal. I can't even tell you what it means to me, and to the Wylie man. I may be unrealistic, but the wonderful support really makes me feel like I can get him through this, with optimal health all the way. Thank you so much. Hugs to all. :)

Ann, I don't know how I missed this thread before, but I just read through it now. I'm so sorry about Wylie, but I'm happy he now has a treatment plan and things are on the upswing. Thank God your first vet was an idiot and that your new vet is working out well. I will keep you both in my thoughts and prayers!
