| I got my pup when she was 8 weeks old. She had runny stools and the vet could not figure out why. All of her stool test came back negative. Finally she got so she would not eat and I had to take her to the emergency hospital. The vet there finally found it. She too had coccidia. They put her on this yellow liquid medicine called Albon. She took it for 10 days and then she was fine. They sent her home with some canned food from the vet and she ate it just fine. It was one of those prescription diets. Hope your baby feels better real soon. My baby girl was fine within a couple of days of starting the medicine, but I still had to give it for the whole ten days. |

| I am so sorry your new baby is dealing with so much. You will be in my thoughts. I hope someone else can give you some of the answers you are looking for. You might also want to search her in the sick forum for coccidia to find out more info. So glad you are here on YT for Cashew

Donating YT 30K Club Member | When I got Cali she had coccydia and kennel cough and went hypoglycemic because she wouldn't eat. I finally got her to eat Cesar's dog food which is crap but at least she was eating. I would feed her every few hours and mix in a little chicken. Once she got older I switched her to a good dog food and know she eats like a little pig. I hope your baby gets well soon. It is really hard when they won't eat. You could also try baby food, like lamb or chicken and warm the food up a little. Keep us posted.
