| Ear Infections Hi; I have a four year old Yorkie that constantly gets ear infections. We take her to the vet, but he gives the same meds. Any suggestions? Thanks, Sofee |

Donating YT 4000 Club Member | My Little Prada suffered from ear infections for a while, and my regular vet always gave me meds too for her, about a month ago I took my boy to the holistic vet for an eye problem and she recomended something called calm eyes, while browsing their site to order I found they also sell a product for ears called calm ears, and I ordered it too.. I started using it on Prada a few days ago, is not a replacement for meds but as soon as your dog is out of medication I would recomend using it, I am hoping that Prada's ears will stay clear of infections now.. but again I just started using it, so only time will tell.. hugs, carmen in nj |

| Ear Infections Vet told us yeast but never did a 'culture'. We are going today, I think I will ask him to culture both ears. Thanks, Sofee |

Only get her ears wet (baths, swimming, etc.) if she has botton calls in them and use a drying solution like Chlorhexiderm Flush afterwards. You might get away with only step 2. It seems to be working here but as soon as I forget to use the Chlor., I'm guessing we will have a problem. If that doesn't work, maybe it is a systemic yeast issue?
