				   | I sprinkle it on Ellie's food. No help for your situation. When the vet gives some to you from a container, it is quite cheap. It is possible to have a compounding pharmacy put it into small capsules and make her take them. This can get very expensive though. For reference, I will be getting a large container of Tylan that will last over a year for $45. If I were to continue going with the compounding pharmacy, it would be $910 a year plus shipping. The pharmacy could also give you liquid Tylan but I'm sure that would be very expensive also. It may be possible to add the Tylan to some water and syringe it.

				   | Pills are easy for me to get her to take. i just hold she mouth. i know she hates it but it's the only way. She sooo picky. She won't eat hard treats. and it doesn't help that she has been sick again. Poor dog, break my heart. |

				   | I mix it in with the food (kibble and canned) and have no problem getting all four of mine to eat it. Some say yogurt is another food you can mix it with to get them to eat it. "People" food is always a delight to dogs so try whatever it takes! How much did the vet say to give your fluff??? I am surprised they gave her tylan instead of a pill.

				   | Yup ice cream worked! i only gave her a tablespoon of ice cream. she went nuts. We are trying duck and potato dog food. So I don't want to give her too much people food or she won't eat her dog food. She is the pickist dog i know!!! she will eat the duck and potato and seems to like it. She is a smarty pants! She will wait to see if she gets anything better ( Daddy's fault, he spoils her). i'm always tell him not to give her so many treats! |

				   | When TJ had to have Tylan every morning this is what I did. At the time, he was to eat duck and potato food, so I got the wet food for the Tylan. I would make a tiny, tiny "meat ball" of the wet with the Tylan mixed in. Then I would roll the little ball in some beef liver dust or a little parm cheese. I would hand feed him this special ball first before the rest of his food to make sure he would eat the Tylan for the day |

![]() Glad you found a solution. And btw, you can buy empty capsules - usually at places like Whole Foods or other health stores, herbal stores.

				   | Why is this pup on Tylan? If it is a gi issue, the ice cream could make it worse...
