| Bloody poo??? Ok I took Maddie in for her last set of shots today! She did so good and check up went perfect, the vet gave her a prescription for interceptor, and now she she has soft poo with blood in it. Has anyone else had this happen? She just meets the weight requirements, to the ounce, for this prescription so I was a little concerned that it was just a little too much for her. She is still running arround, playing, drinking and eating normal. Any input would be so great, I am a worried mama.

| It does sound to me that she is having a reaction to the interceptor. Here is what I found on the interceptor website: Quote:

| I would call the vet again, and ask them to run a stool sample, as well as giardia test!

| thankyou, yes it does seem like she is havin a bit of a reaction. There is no more blood so that is a good thing but she still is having soft stools I will give the vet a call and give her a little pumpkin, she is still eating good and active but blood and diarreah are scary to me, wouldn't want to give my girl anything that would hurt her. I appreciate your reply.

| I agree with everyone else, better safe then sorry. Call your vet and double check. |
