| tapeworm!! Last week when I was washing my sheets I noticed two seed, rice like kind of things in my sheets...I didnt know what they were. A few minutes ago Bailee pooped a live worm. i called my aunt(the vet) and she said this is most likely a tapeworm...she said not to let her sleep with me becuz she could pass em in her sleep! It then hit me what I had found last week! She has been sleeping alot lately,do you think she has a bad infection of them and shes realy sick?My aunt said I would have to eat the flea to get it but could it be transfered to me another way?Im sooooo worried, shes getting some meds first thing in the morning...giardia last week, now this...

Donating YT 10K Club Member | Your aunt's correct....you'd need to eat a flea. Although with a shot to clear up the worms, I'd also get the flea situation under control by bathing her and flea preventative

Donating YT 10K Club Member | Flea preventative stops an infestation of fleas. They can still be bitten by a flea or have some fleas. If you are using a topical flea med...the fleas die when they bite her.

| yes it is topical, i dont think she has an infestation becuz she got groomed yesterday and they told me they check all the dogs that come in for them so they dont spread them to the other dogs...Thanks for that info tho! and thank you for putting my mind at ease lol
