| Mast Cell Tumor/Amputation Question and seeing info This is not Yorkie related but it is a family member an American Eskimo which is a cousin to our dogs. She is my neice and we got the most unbearable news today when her biopsy came back positive for mast cell tumor. She will go in tomorrow to have her leg amputated. Has anyone ever gone thru this before? I am in the process of making a harness/sling for her so she can have support while she learns to walk without her front leg. This is breaking our hearts She is 11 years old. Also we would appreciate a lot of prayers for Ellie Mae she has been the best friend/companion and protector for my sister-in-laws.

| I am sending my prayers for Ellie Mae. I do not know anyone who has been through this, but we do have friends who had a dog hit by a car and lost a leg amazingly it did not take very long for him to learn to walk again

| Thank you We need all the prayers for her that all goes well She is a very much loved girl and we are just all in a state of shock. I worry about my sister-in-laws while going thru this I am going to make a sling harness for her tonight that will help them to help support her weight.
