| probably wouldn't hurt. You can try some pure canned pumpkin to firm up his poop. |

| If it was me, I would take him in. Blood in stool can be a couple of different things....maybe has a parasite.... Always better to make sure

| sick tummy reply So i did end up taking him in and when i took him in they sent his stuff to the lab and diagnosed it as ghardia which he had when he was younger.. so I get home from the vet and literally 20 mins later he goes to go potty and a huge pool of blood comes out of his butt! I was in histerics! i took him to the emergency hospital and they determined he had hemorraghiac gastroenteristis which if left untreated can cause death.. It was horrible because the reason i got pudgy was because my puppy before him caught pnuemonia and he died in that same emergency room so here i was back there again not knowing what was going to happen. He ended up staying that night and i picked him up yesterday evening. He is recovering well but the scary thing is that they dont know what really causes this disease in dogs.. and it can happen again. I guess iam just soooooo glad that he is ok and i have my lil man back! |
