er vet or wait till morning? I am worried about my 15 week old puppy. She weighs about 2 ibs. Today she has been laying around alot, has that I-dont-feel-good-look to her face, sleeping alot, threw up a couple of times. Havent noticed any eating but is drinking. My husband said earlier it looked like chicken when she got sick. I dont give my dogs any people food. Last night my girls had shrimp and chicken nuggets. They said they didnt give her anything but she could have sneaked a piece of something. I took her temp and it was 101 but she was laying with my husband so I think that might have caused her to get warmer. Im going to recheck soon. I dont know if I should take her to the er vet tonight when I get off work or just wait till in the morning for her regular vet. I dont want her to get worse.

She is very young, if some of the chicken nuggetts fell on the floor she could have gotten a hold of it and all that fry is not good. Have you checked her gums they should be nice and pink if they are not you need to get some nutrical into her and take her to the ER vet.

Hi and welcome to YT!! From what you said, she sounds to be doing alright, but definately call your vet and see what (s)he says. Your baby is small and very young. Things can happen very quickly.

The chicken nuggets didnt have any grease in them. Baked them in the oven. I went to the pet store and got some bene something and that seems to be helping. She has perked up and running alittle. Took her temp again and it was 100.9. Ive never had this small of a dog before and I know things can happen really quickly. Thanks for all the advise.

She is doing alot better. A couple of hours after giving her bene-bac,she seems to be back to her old self. I put her food and water in her crate and she acted like she just discovered food. She is running around and playing. Its like one of your kids getting sick. My husband thinks Im crazy.

Someone told me a temp of 102 was too high. I was looking to see if her temp would go higher or lower. Today she is fine. Has been driving me crazy Back to her old self again.
