you can leave kibble in the cage overnight.. youll be surprised but when they get hungry and kibble is available over night they eat it..

 | Okay, I'll try that tonight. I'll put some out this afternoon and see if she is at all interested in it, then I'll leave it overnight. But... if she doesn't eat all night, her blood sugar level could drop! I wish I knew how fast it can happen. My guess is that Meg wasn't eating enough before I got her, so her one night of not eating when she got home was just the icing on the cake. However, I don't want to take any chances!
Last night I put Clini-Care out for her and she drank a little. But for the most part, she didn't eat much for the last 8 hours. She seems okay this morning, but not interested in food yet. Hmmm....
One other thing: her ears are sticking up this morning! Up until now they hadn't been, but the guy I bought her from said that we shoudn't trim her hair yet because it will be too much stress for her. But... this morning they are up! When did you all start trimming your babies' ears? She's almost 12 weeks old now. |
