Thanks to All! Quote:
She has certainly had enough hugs, and Barney was so worried about her yesterday too. Last night, when we got home, he was so sweet. I picked them both up, and he reached over and put his paw on her back as if to say "I'll take care of you". I wish I had had my camera at that moment. She is doing much better this morning and eating and drinking. The vet gave her a couple cans prescription food especially for the GI track, and she seems to like it. Thanks for telling me about the parasite transmission. I never really though of it that way. We are certainly going to watch them even closer than before if that is possible. Hugs to you! Brenda |
I am so happy Asha is doing better. Yes, these digusting parasites can be picked up anytime anywhere. Scary. They also live in the ground even in the winter to come alive in the warm weather. Buddy picked one up several years ago, I would assume, by sniffing the ground while we walked. He went threw the samething your baby just went threw. Her big brother sounds like a little doll baby to care so much for his sister by patting her back. That's so adorable. Wishing her a speedy recovery and sending another hug her way, |
