| ![]() My dog just had puppies on monday, and now she is suffering from diarrhea. Should i remove the puppy away from her? Should i give her some human anti-diarrheal medication? |

One of mine did that directly after birth, we thought it was from eating the plasenta but it got worse, bad thing is it passes to the babies and you wont know because mommy cleans them. That was my first litter, and even though we got her on meds the 3rd day, I lost two. They gave mine something that would stop the diareah but wouldnt harm the babies. Everything she eats/drinks will go to the babies. Call your vet to be safe. And good luck, I hope all goes well. |
