| Any advice on care after fho??? Chloe just had a fho and is coming home today!!! I am excited that everything went great ,but I am worried about how I am going to keep her calm. She has so much energy!! How did you keep your baby calm and have them get the rest they needed???? What special care did you give?? Do I need to keep her in a crate?

| Sorry,,an FHO is a femoral head ostectomy.Chloe had legg calve-perthes disease and for that they remove the femoral head of her right leg.She is doing really good,I think my challenge is going to be to keep her calm, she's only a year old and I don't think she knows she's hurt!!!! She's quite energetic!

| It is good that you take such good care of her. Keeping them down after surgery is the hardest thing. I don't know if you can. I just go about my day holding Mia as much as possible. It's just a hard situation, they don't understand. Bless you for being a great pet owner. Things will get better. |

| You guys need a support group My good friend Delisa (Delisa2850), and Robin (mxkids) have both had babies go through this surgery this year. Both Roxy and Tucker are doing fantastic! They would be happy to help with anything, if you needed it. Good luck with your baby!
