| Chloe broke her foot/toes... I am so sad!!! Yesterday Chloe & Ellie were coming up the steps on the deck right behind me and Ellie turned to play with Chloe and she lost her balance and fell of the 5th step. She cried and cried. I called the vet and he told me to bring her in right away. It's a good thing I did her little paw is broken, right across all 4 of her lil fingers. Yesterday was a rough day, she yelped every time she moved and wouldn't put any pressure on her little cast. Today she is hopping around and she seems to be feeling better. Any tips on how I can help her, or what I should or shouldn't do? I have to say I am so amazed by her spirit, even though she is hurt she is so loveable and sweet. Such a little trooper. I took a really sweet picture of her relaxing this morning. I will try to attach it here. Any suggestion or ideas would really be appreciated by both me & Chloe. |

Donating YT 1000 Club Member | I would not let her walk on stairs or steps as she could fall again because with a cast they are not totally stable. Other than that she will heal with time. Give her extra treats - IT WORKS WONDERS FOR THE MORAL!
