I'm so sorry that happened to your Rosie. :( Glad she is ok though besides having to have stitches. Poor girl. I do hope the owner of the other dogs pays for your vet bills. She should. Hugs to Rosie & you. :big_hug::aimeeyork |
So glad to hear Rosie is okay. Hopefully the owner of the dogs IS a responsible owner and takes care of the bills. |
What a nerve to walk away! So much for a respsonsible owner, she didn't even care if your baby was injured. Thank heavens it wasn't worse. I would most definately find her and hand her the vet bill. Let her know her dogs put 5 stitches into your little dog. Of course report it. Next time it could be a child or another small dog and a different ending. Hope Rosie heals nicely, Hugs, |
my thoughts are with Rosie and SHAME on that lady for walking away!!!!!!! |
poor Rosie, hope she feels better soon. |
The lady paid without an issue and was very apologetic about the whole situation. She knows how her dog is and tries to stay away from other dogs. The dog is fine with people just horrible with dogs. I was very pleased with how she handled everything when we spoke to her. She said she came looking for us and couldn't find us. Actually she seemed relieved that we found her. As for Rosie...she's taking advantage of the situation:p She keeps looking on the counter where her treats are and whines. Haha. She's pouting right now. We have given her far too many treats and said no when she whined. It was so hard to say no. Thanks for all the messages. |
Oh my gosh! I am glad that Rosi and your sister are OK! How horrible to have to deal with that all because she walked outside and had encountered an irresponsible pet owner! And this woman did NOTHING! No "I'm sorry" or "can I help you" or anything? It would have been hard for her to walk away from me with my hands around her neck! That kind of disregard for others is uncalled for and dangerous.:thumbdown |
I am glad things were worked out and she paid the expenses that were incurred. I take it back about her not caring. Perhaps it would be a good thing for her to get some outside training for her dogs regarding, at least, tolerating other dogs while they are being walked. Glad Rosie is doing well. |
Oh no! I just saw this and am so sorry about little Rosie! That makes me so mad!! Zeus sends hugs and kisses!! :) |
Glad she is okay, how scary! |
I don't think she meant to walk away. She just panicked. My sister looked outside the window after the incident and saw her out there with her mail. When my sis told me she saw her out there I figured she was looking for us, which the girl said she did. She really seemed upset when we talked to her. Who knows…maybe she is working on this problem. I give people the benefit of doubt:) The next time I see her I'll suggest for her to get a muzzle. They make them real soft now and it shouldn't bother her dog. I would hate this happen again to someone else and they put her dog down. That just makes me sad. |
my sonnie's been atacked too sorry to hear that rosie has been atacked i do hope she's ok , my sonnie was attacked by another dog about 4 years ago this dog ran out of it's own house and just grabed him as he was on the lead he couldn't defend himself very well and ended up at the vet's i was quite lucky the owner of that dog paid all the vet's bills so you def want to try and find out who it is you may be able to claim back from them.sending you and rosie my best wishes sonnies mum xxxxx:heart to |
I'm glad the owner took responsibility and paid the bill. There is only one problem now Rosie needs more treats to make her all better. ( she paid me to tel you this!) |
