| Update puppy seizures and not urinating Just wanted to send a quick update on Riley. As you know she started having seizures around 9 weeks old. She was hospitalized for about 2 weeks and had lots of x-rays, bile acid tests, blood work, etc. Everything came back negative. At one point she was having seizures every hour. The vet put her on potassium bromide. After bringing her home she had major trust issues and would really freak out if you tried to touch her. She had very low energy for awhile and at one point the vet even discussed putting her down. However, Riley proved everyone wrong. It has been a little over a month now and she is doing GREAT!!!! She hasn't experienced seizures for awhile now and no longer needs potassium bromide. She is very playful and social and it's great to be a yorkie mommy again. I love this puppy so much. It's JOY to care for her. I do give her a small dose of Nutri-Cal daily and make sure she stays warm. Thank you so much for your thoughts, prayers, and advice. I couldn't have gotten through such a difficult time without you. I have never been around anyone or any pet that SICK before. I am so thankful that Riley has pulled through. |

| What a wonderful update! I am so glad to hear Riley is doing better. Does your vet think it was just hypoglycemia? |
