| My Yorkie (best friend) is ill Sorry i posted this in the wrong thread earlier. My yorkie has not been well now for a couple of weeks he started off by coughing yellow flem and he just wants to sleep all the time. He is 12 years old and getting on a bit and we have had him to the vets a couple of times and all they say it is his age. They checked his temperature which was ok and gave him some antibiotics and some kind of pick me up .And told us to come back in 48 hrs. We are just sat here and he is not getting better it is tearing us apart. We noticed he was losing weight a while back on his rear back legs and was told nothing to worry about. The thing is he has a heart murma and they won,t sedate him for an xray or operate because he mite not pull through. We just want some advice of what else we can do. He is my best mate but i don,t want him to suffer but i can,t make the desision to have him put down because i don,t know whats wrong with him. Please someone help me thankyou |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | My 11 year old pom was like that a couple of months ago and the vet took an xray, they didn't sedate her, and she was diagnosed with congestive heart failure. They put her on 2 meds, one is a diuretic and the other a heart medicine, Encard and she is so much better. Maybe get a second opinion. I hope he feels better soon.

| WE took our yorkie ( Rocky ) For blood test,s and we were told he has chronic kidney failure and told there was no way he would survive. We had to make the descision to have him put to sleep the hardest thing ive ever done in my life ,he is at rest now but me and my mum can,t stop crying and in histerics. Life is so cruel. |

| So sad to hear of your loss. Everyone handles grieving differently. We lost our dog two years ago to liver failure too. For my the crying helped and it sounds like it is for you too....sooo grab a big box of kleenex and let the tears roll. Again, so sorry about your losing Rocky.

| I am so sorry. Please accept my condolences for your loss of Rocky. I know how hard it is. I had to let "My Heart and Soul" Grizzley Bear cross the Rainbow Bridge in October. I will never be the same. I can honestly say that time will help ease your pain. Please know that YT has been a life line that has helped me so. Please accept the hugs and prayers I am sending your way. Hugs, Mary

| god bless you and your family rip little man If I could take your troubles I would toss them in the sea, But all these things I'm finding are impossible for me. I cannot build a mountain Or catch a rainbow fair, But let me be what I know best, A friend who's always there. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
