Yes.. she definately wanted Mom's lap. She still does. I guess each baby reacts differently. TJ did fine with no pain meds after his neutering on the 7th. But Sandy needed the pain meds. I am just so relieved it is over and they are both doing well. Thank you for caring.

Thanks for your kind thoughts. She is resting well now. You can tell she is hurting when the pain meds start to run out. But they work quickly and she is able to rest. You are indeed fortunate that Bella came through her spay not needing meds. Thank you for caring. She loved her kisses and hugs and said to tell you thank you so much. They make her feel better.

Oh, Sweet Sandy, I'm so glad you are feeling a little better. Mommy knew you were in pain.

Now that you got the meds needed, you can enjoy Mommy's lap a whole lot better!

Thank you so much. I put a picture of my poor little boys this morning on my page. They want to be next to her.. but they are just too rowdy.. so they curled up together on the other couch.. poor little angels.

Just saw this and am sorry your poor baby had to suffer like that! Glad she is doing better this morning. My Kalani was in pain after his neuter, I basically carried him around in a sling the first day cause all he wanted was to be near me and I'm up and down a lot. He was much better the next day as I'm sure your Sandy will be

I am sorry Kalani was in pain after his neuter. Glad he is doing ok now.

Sandy loves mom's lap and the extra attention. And just now, daddy got home from work. So her little world is complete once more. It is funny so watch a 6' 3" man being wound around such a petite little paw. But then, mommy is wound around the other little paw... so I guess it balances out.

I was checking to see how Sandy was doing? I am happy to hear the news that she doing much better. Sorry what you went thru on her pain. I know you were feeling it too. She is right where she needs to be. With Mom and Dad. I did chuckle when you told the vet you were not leaving.

I think most Vets. give the dog a shot for pain right after surgery that takes care of any pain for a few days. I've never had a foster or any of my own dogs, come home with pain meds after a spay or neuter, but never had one to suffer.
Am so glad your baby got some meds for her pain. I think I'd be asking the Vet. why he did not give her a shot after her spay, or at least give you some meds to give her. Hope all heals nicely.

Thank you for caring. I am planning to call the vet on Monday and see what happened, why she was hurting so. The emergency vet in Meridian was wonderful and I am making a thank you card to send them.

Sandy is starting to feel better. She ate a little and drank a little this morning. I am going to offer her some more in a little bit. She is feeling better ..enough that she is really starting to enjoy the extra attention and care.. so that is good.
