So sorry that I am just now getting an update in guys! :eek: We have family down from California (not staying with US, but they are here in town) and anyway, we have been busy, busy, busy!

Everything with Stedman has been going really well for the last couple of days! :thumbup: He is pooping and peeing fine...which is WONDERFUL. He has started lifting his leg again when he pees too! :D WOOHOO!!! GO STEDMAN!!! :cheer:

HOWEVER....I am still not getting my hopes up that all is 100% better as he still has to see the vet again on Wednesday and when they do more x-rays (or an ultrasound) - I don't know what is going to show up regarding the spot that they found inside of him last week :cry: I am HOPING and PRAYING that whatever it was isn't there anymore....but if it is, he still may need surgery :cry: So....if you all could keep the prayers coming for that, we would GREATLY appreciate it!!!

When he was at the vet last week and they gave him the Laxatone, they did tell me to give it to him twice a day, but they didn't say for how LONG (and I forgot to ask) - so, I gave it to him Wed., Thurs., Fri., and all through the weekend (Sat. and Sun.) and last night was the last time. I didn't give him any today and won't be giving him anymore because I want to make sure that he can still poop ON HIS OWN, WITHOUT the Laxatone. Since he is going to see the vet on Wednesday again, if for any reason he can't poop again from now until Wednesday WITHOUT the Laxatone...then I need to tell the vet this. So these three days will be our "tester" days to make sure that he can still poop on his own without any problems, and without any meds. Although he is still on the antibiotic for the UTI.

So anyway, I will keep you all updated on that and of course if anything changes I will definitely let you all know. Thank you sooo much for all of your thoughts and prayers....please keep them coming as I am HOPING for good news on Wednesday when he goes back in....I hope and pray that-that spot inside of him is gone and that he doesn't need surgery :hands:

Great news Brooke!!! I am glad "things" are back to normal. :D ;)

Yay Steddy! It's so good to know the you've passed the first hurdle. The prayers will keep coming for a good outcome from Wed's visit. Have fun with all the family and we'll all be sitting in front of our screen's come Wed. to see what the Dr. says.
