Hey Linda, Just checking in to see how they are doing today? Did the chicken and rice help? Hugs to M and M from us!! |
Thanks for asking MaryKay, but no the chicken and rice hasn't helped. I called the vet this am. They didn't get back to me until this afternoon and we have appointment with the vet tomorrow afternoon. They also want me to bring in a stool sample for both. The bummer is...my vet is out of town.....Family emergency.:( so it is a "fill in vet". I love and trust OUR vet, we will see how tomorrow goes. Hopefully we will know tomorrow what is going on. I only Hope all is ok! :animal-pa |

We'll be thinking of you guys today. come back and let us know, k' Hope everything checks out ok. I know what you mean about the fill-in vet! Once you find one you like and knows your babies, it sucks to have to use another. I've had that happen a couple times, but it worked out ok. I'm sure the fill in is one that your vet trusts. Huggles and snuggles to all of you guys :):) |
We just got back from the vet. Yep.....they have diarrhea! Actually, they are both better today but still went to vet. She said to continue the chicken and rice until everything is "firm". Then gradually add back in their kibble. Mimi's fecal exam was clear. Moose didn't go today yet (which is good) but not test could be done. She also said to get Imodium AD and give it to them if they still have loose stool. So....I guess its.....a bug  of some sort! But this is good! :D Thanks for everyones concerns and ideas. :animal-pa:animal-pa |
Thats good her stool sample was clear  Hopefully a little more time on the yummy chicken and rice, and they'll be back to nice little tootsie rolls in no time!! Maybe it is just a bug, still curious about the petzlife? Are you going to try it again after they clear up? Either way, I'm happy they are doing better!!! :):) |
Glad they are going to be ok! Be sure that your guys are drinking plenty of water too:aimeeyork |
Glad to hear the "kids" are getting better. I keep a can of pumpkin in the pantry for emergencies. You can also place in ice tray, freeze and then place pumpkins cubes in freezer bag for future. One cube is usually divided into 2 portions for Charlie. Gently reheat in microwave. Settles their tummies down rapidly. Warmly, Deborah |
