Sending Tarra best wishes and prayers for a speedy recovery. Also, sending you prayers for survival. Hopefully, you and Tarra can make it through the next three months. Hope everything is going well today during the surgery. Please keep us updated on what is going on with the sweet baby.

Tarra is out of surgery -- things went well....
 
I just spoke with Kim on the telephone. Tarra is out of surgery. The surgery was successful and went extremely well. Kim will be picking her up at 7:00 pm tonight and will post pictures when she gets home.

Please continue to keep Kim and Tarra in your thoughts and prayers. There is a long hard recovery ahead.

So glad the surgery is over and Tarra will be home tonight. That is great news. We will continue to pray for a quick and successful recovery for her.

Thank you so much for letting us know, I've thought of them both many times today. Great news too that everything went well.....and she gets to come home tonight, she'll rest better at home.

Tarra is home....finally, we got here about 9 and have been trying to get her stuff set up. She did great with the surgery, Dr. Mitch said she did great, but she has to be in a crate for the next 6 weeks, then we will do xrays and see how she is healing. So the next few weeks look fun, she can't play or been around the other yorkies, can't run, pretty much if I am not holding her, she is in the crate. Thanks everyone for the prayers, we both are going to need a bunch. He said she has a 50/50 chance it will heal correctly, he said to look at her surgery like putting a screw in butter, we have to be extremely careful.

They didn't put a cast on but I talked him into putting a bandage on her.

glad to see she is doing good.....just think you pretty much get to have a lap baby for the next 2-3 months...im sure she will adjust and eveything will be ok

I'm so glad that the surgery went well, but I'm continuing to pray...for you, Sweetie.

Tarra...doesn't look happy, you're right. Awww

She's a sweetie though, so I'm sure she'll adapt. I'm sorry though. ((hugs))
