I just thought it would help someone in case they want to see what the Symptoms are of GME an Liver Shunt Disease. You can see her head shaking and body. She couldn't walk either. Oh Brenda.... I don't even know what to say.... Bless you for sharing a few of Mattie's last moments with us in an effort to bring awareness to these horrible conditions that your sweet girl struggled with.... How absolutely heartwrenching.... We can only be grateful that God didn't allow her to suffer long and quickly took her home to be by His side... All my best to you and yours... I pray that your hearts have slowly begun to heal and that you are finding peace in the beautiful time you were blessed to have shared with your angel girl... |

Liver shunt is correctable. Why wasn't she diagnosed early enough to have the operation? This is just too heartbreaking! |

I cried my eyes out watching that. I'm SO sorry that you went through that. It brought back some painful memories for me of how my baby looked before he passed away from Liver Shunt. You will help someone with that video, I just know you will. Mattie was just beautiful. Thank you so much for doing what you can to help another dog (and pet-parent) who may not know what to look for. |

It was extremely sad to watch her struggle.......who would not cry at seeing little Mattie and knowing that it was her last few hours with you. She was a very adorable little yorkie that I know you must miss. Thanks for sharing it, as it might just help someone understand GMC and liver shunt issues better. I am sooooo sorry for your loss!:(:( |

I started to watch and couldn\'t. I am so sorry you had to lose that sweet little dog to liver shunt. Please let your breeder know so she knows what dogs to eliminate from her breeding program. My prayers are with you and your family and I hope some day this horrible disease will not take anymore of our beautiful yorkies. |
