| Logan's Bile Acids Test Results are In! Good news! Logan's pre-meal bile acid level was 1.6 (normal), and his post-meal was 33 - just slighly above normal. Vet said to keep him on low protein food and lactulose, but concern over a liver shunt is no longer in play. I'm so relieved!! Thanks for all your thoughts and prayers. |

| My only question would be why is his post-meal still just a tad high? |

| Did you give any heartworm or flea meds recently? That could possibly skew the results....The good thing is that the post number is only slightly high!! Since the results are not in normal range, there is something going on, but it could just be MVD and since you've had Logan on lactulose and proper diet, that's probably why his number went down from last time...He's getting the proper management.
