| New mommy - puppy had shots We took our little Oso to the vet today for his shots, he was so active before and now all he wants to do since we arrived home is sleep. Is this normal? He just seems so sad! I just worry so much, since I have never had a dog let alone a little puppy. I miss him getting into everything! |

| Both mine slept alot and would yelp when I picked them up because the injection site was a little sore. Not to worry, your baby will be back to getting into things by the morning!

| Thank you! It makes me feel better. The little guy dislikes his crate, but now he wants to stay in there. I knew something was up, since we left the door open too! |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Mine usually sleep more after shots and some are more sensitive to the shots than others. He should feel better tomorrow

| Both the shot and the visit to the vet can take a toll on the energy of the little guys. He should be fine tomorrow (unless still a little sore at the injection site). Best wishes.

| Try not to worry My yorkie does the same thing everytime he gets a shot. If he is like my Harley he will be his perky self tomorrow. My Harley had to go to the vet today and get his kennel cough shot, allergy tested and got a steroid shot to help his terrible itching and he is sleeping as we speak. Try not to worry. Harley is my first yorkie and I was the same way. Any time anything happens I panic. He will also be real sleepy and not his self if you get him neutered but the next day - same perky self. |
