The chicken and rice should help as long as the pup is drinking water also. If you can get someone to take you to the vet without the dog and bring a stool sample to check for Coccidia it would be good. If your family will bring the dog it should be checked for Parvo. Do you have other dogs in the house? |

I think I would have to just take the dog to the vet's myself......I know it would be risking your friendship, but I wouldn't be able to watch the puppy die!! |
Update and fnal Well we did make it to the vet to find out it was.. Parvo and put it down...:( I am sad and relieved. now just praying for the 3 puppies that are 10 wks old at the house. yes they are cleaning/bleaching everywhere and cleaning more and the puppies have recevieved there first set of vaccinations... thanks |
I was just ready to turn my computer off when I saw this. I had a feeling it was parvo. It\'s too bad about the one pup and let\'s just hope the other three make it. You are a very good friend and thanks so much for letting us know. |
I\'m sorry you lost the pup! Were the other pups checked out? I hope don\'t have it either. I\'ll be praying for you and the 3 pups! |
Just saw this, sorry it was Parvo and your friend lost the pup. I hope the other pups are not affected! |
