| Zoe had her shots today and I'm worried. Zoe had all her shots today and I'm kicking myself that I didn't insist that they do the rabies seperately. The doctor said it was fine but now she is not feeling well. She's a bit shaky and very sleepy and just not herself. She wouldn't eat her dinner at all either. I gave her 1/2 of a baby aspirin and she's sleeping on my lap now. Has anyone else experienced this? Should I be worried? |

| I thought aspirins are not good for them? I am not sure but it just came up in my mind from some reading. I hope Zoe will feel better soon.

| I know that Hot Rod was sleepy after he got each of his shots but I think the rabies was seperate. I'm sure she is just wiped out from them.

| I just got tucker his shots on tuesday and he had a reaction. He was shaking his head, scratching out fur, crying rubbing his head on the ground., and he vomited 3 times, and was very sleepy and didn;t move much. I did call the vet and they said to give him some childrens benedryl and that seemed to help a bit. I was very worried and crying. His appetite just came back tonight. Hope zoe feels better.

| Thanks everyone for posting! I will never let them give Zoe both shots like that again and I'll probably be a bit nervous the next time she has any shots but she appears to be almost back to normal. She finally ate and drank and now she has been starting to play. Maybe not as crazy as she usually is but much closer to her normal silly self. I'm so relieved! Thanks so much!!! |
