Tinkerbell is at the VETS!!! Need Prayers and Opinions Please!!!
 

Tonight when I came home from work I was not greeted by my crazy duo. There was only Delilah which has never happened. I started going crazy running around my apartment looking for her. I found her in a bedroom lying on the floor with bloody diarrhea all around. She had it all down her hair on her backside. I picked her up to see if she was still breathing. Luckily she still was. I ran to my neighbor and had him get my vets number and drove to the vets immediately. Tinkerbell was really out of it the whole time. She let the doctor do whatever it was with out even flinching or pulling back. The doctor did blood test, listened to everything and took her temp which was 93.6 degrees. I have blood test results from Feb 2008 and today to compare.

The doctor said the it could be Kidney Failure or Pancentitis. She is leaning more toward the Pancentitis because she got into the trash and ate Fedicini a couple nights ago. Tinkerbell can't hold down water or anything. She is losing weight and is down to 6.5 lbs. She is normally 7 lbs. Tinkerbell is staying the night at the vets tonight and most likely for the next couple nights to get IV fluids in her. The doctor said there is a chance that she might not make it through the night. I will get an update tomorrow morning about 8:15.

If you have any idea what is going on, what questions to ask or just know something about the subject please let me know. I am dying to hear anything.

I know the power of YT prayers and I would love for you to pray for Tinkerbell. She is my daughter and I would do anything for her.

Thank you so much Sonya. I don't know what to do with myself. It is not the same without her here. I just want to cry. She has always been so healthy and then this all of the sudden. Thank you for your prayers. She needs all that she can get.

Oh my stars in heaven I will pray for your baby that it is nothing serious I can only say I am sorry and I pray God opens the door for you in all your answers. Waiting and grey areas is not fun.... I wish your baby to get well. Please let me know if I can do anything..I pray for immediate restored health!

OMGosh...I didn't see this last night! I'm so sorry Tinkerbell has become so ill. I don't have any advice, but want you to know I'll be praying for her and you, and hoping for a positive update soon. What a terrible scare for you to come home and find her like that. Hugs to you!

Oh my gosh, not another sick Tink!!! I have been saying prayers all day for ALL of the sick little ones here at YT. I hope Tink is better real soon. I know how hard it is to leave the babies at the vet. Stay strong!!

I am praying Tink had a good night and is getting better. Hopefully it is from getting into the trash and with some meds and fluids she will start to feel better.

Oh Sharon- I am so sorry. I'm praying that Tink is just fine and this is a result of her getting into the trash. I can tell you with Sissy's pancreatitis diagnosis that she has been just fine with watching fat content in everything she eats. Once the inflammation goes down, she should return to normal. Thank God you came home when you did. Sending you hugs!!!!!

it really could be from the trash - I know of a few little dogs that had blood like that and it WAS pancreatitis - I hope that's the problem and we're sending prayers for little Tink

I am so very sorry you are going through this with your Tinkerbell. I know how scared you must be. I don't know yet if you have a final diagnosis, but just in case, I am going to PM you some info that I gathered when Mango had her pancreatitis.

Tinkerbell UPDATE!!!
 

Last night I had this wonderful dream about Tinkerbell being all better and running up to me giving me tons of those kisses that I love. It was great. Left me with this excited peaceful feeling. Then my alarm went off telling me that I needed to call the doctor for the update at 8:10am. I was passed to the doctor that I saw last night and she said that she stayed with Tinkerbell until 1:30am and she was okay when she left. When she got into work this morning Tinkerbell had already past. My heart is broken. Tinkerbell was only 3.5 years old and had so much life in her. I called everyone that mattered and had her creamated too. Delilah is being the goof ball that she always is and is acting like nothing has happened. I guess that they must understand life so much more then us.

I want to thank everyone for all your prayers and support. You guys are truely great.
