Warning/update!!! I wanted to update all of you on what we believe Tinkerbell was sick and died over.....Cat food. When I moved into my new apartment there was some cat food on the floor from the previous renters. Delilah and Tinkerbell I am sure were into it. From the research that I have done cat food is really bad for dogs and it builds up in their systems and caused pancentitis and kidney failure. As you know these little guys are really sensitive and can be harmed by so many things so easily. Tinkerbell use to have kitty treats as her dog treats. They were the perfect size and she loved them. As soon as I found out that they were bad about a year ago she has not had them since. I did not even think about it when I saw the cat food. Delilah is going to be fine, but will never touch cat food if I have anything to do about it. Tinkerbell had just reached that level that starts to shut down their kidneys and causes problems. She really did not have much chance for survival. I tried my best and I wanted to help someone else who might not have this tidbit of information. I only hope that Tinkerbell as an example might help save anothers life. |
I also want to thank all of you for all the wonderful private messages, prayers, thoughts, and comments sent to me. You are all wonderful and I am so glad to call this place a home of mine. Thank you everyone. |
My heart was broken for you. I kept looking to see if you would come back on line. I'm so glad you did. (Hugs) |
