Hello, I'm home a little earlier tonight. Tink's lab tests were stable today so she went home with Barb. I am soooo jealous and missing her soooo much. I left work early for a change and went to Barb and her husband's home for dinner and snuggles with Tink. It was so sweet of them to invite me for dinner her first night with them. They have a little crate all set up and it's bolted to a table at waist height so they can work with her at a comfortable level. I took her blankets and some toys (especially her kong) so she has things that smell like home.;) I held her for a long time and rocked with her in a rocking chair. She just slept most of the time but I did get a couple of licks. No moving around tonight. I think she was exhausted from the move to Barb's. She's still eating well and pottying! Another little poo today - yippee! :D We're moving forward still. Thanks for checking in on her and posting. I really appreciate it and still need your support.:) |
It sounds like she's all settled in. It's constantly amazing to me just how strong you and Tink are. Your bond is strong. You are blessed to have each other. Prayers for you both for comfort and healing. Hugs. |

Thank you again for updating us. It sounds like things are going as well as they can right now, and that Tink is comfortable and being well-taken care of. We'll continue to pray for you. |
Bless her little heart. Don't worry, Susie because Tink will never forget you or Mommy smell. Each day I am amazed at her progress because last week had me so fearful. Make sure you pack a picture of her that can sit on your hospital nightstand. I am so hopeful for Tink, and if she has made this gained this much strength in one week, the next three weeks will be amazing. Since we want to make sure we know how are you are feeling and Tink, is there someone who will update this thread while you are in the hospital? Warmly, Deborah |
I think about you and Tink several times throughout the day and say prayers for her recovery and strength. |
