But that is the only thing that has been different here, no food or treat changes. Could restlessness and jumpness be because he has a tummy ache? He no other kinds of symptoms or anything that has progressed to worse. |
I just honestly can't say what's wrong...vomiting and lethargy are such common symptoms for so many things. Him being restless and snapping at you make me think he's in some sort of pain though. It could just be an upset tummy that will be better tomorrow or he might have ingested something that is causing a problem. I would definitely just keep a good eye on him tonight and if he starts to get worse or show other concerning symptoms, I'd go to the ER. Otherwise if it were me I'd probably wait it out until morning and if he wasn't back to his normaly self, I'd get him to the vet as soon as they could get me in. There is always the posibility of a toxin, infection, blockage, or something like pancreatitis...but symptoms will get worse if its something serious. Hopefully its just a little tummy ache that will get better tonight. If he's not better in the morning, I'd take him in and probably have them run a full blood panel and do an exam to check everything. |
Sorry for so many typo there........... I hope you understood all that! lol its 2 here so my eyes don't work as good! lol |

It's a possibility that he may be restless because of the sugar water. I know sugar gets my kids very restless. I don't know how much you put in there, but if he's drinking it consistently, he may stay restless a while. Just a thought. I hope he gets to feeling better. Sounds like his tummy was upset. When you feed him next, feed him bland foods such as boiled chicken or rice. |
What did the vet say.Sounds like a stomache problem ,Vomiting ,no stool pain. All kinds of stomache problems though from blockage to infection etc.Did he have a fever? Was his stomache hard or soft was it distended at all? What was he bringing up i his vomit?Food or just water? Was his mouth watery sometimes when they get into toxins their mouth will watery (drool or more saliva than usual, notice them swallowing more) and their eyes glaze over? |
Just checking in on the baby today. Feeling any better? |
