OMG! I am so sorry for your loss! I am heartbroken to hear this. I was so hoping that you would come back and say that the emergency was over and she would be fine. And after just losing your father you must really need a hug. HUGS!! It will be hard work taking care of the orphans, but try to be strong and you will be well rewarded. Awww bless your heart.

You can leave a small bowl of this out for the puppies to starting eating. They will start out by just licking up a little of it. Usually I start that when my pups are 4 weeks but if yours are up and walking around then they will find it. You will need to feed the pups the milk formula every 4 or 5 hours, depending on how much they drink at one setting. They will let you know when they are hungry. Once they are eating the dry food you can take a little canned Pedigree Lamb and Rice puppy food and mix a little with some the ground up dry food twice a day.

I did not think that it was going to be this hard to hand raise puppies. They do not like the bottles but only lick small amounts of the milk supplement out of a small dessert dish. I went a baught it the second you told me to today. They are doing well with the pedigree canned puppy food with the milk supplement mixed in it. Is that OK? I am so scared that I am going to do something wrong. I am blending the dry food a little to much because I am mortified that they may choke on it. Thanks so much.

Please feel free to copy the information. It will be fine to mix the milk supplement with the canned Pedigree Puppy food. I have been weaning my Yorkie pups on the ground puppy food for 4 years and have never had one choke. You do want it ground very fine; I alway sift out the big pieces. I like to use the small double bowls they sell at Wal-mart. I put the dry food in both sides and then I have another double bowl for the water. You want to make sure you leave water down also. If you can just make it through this next week I think you will find that it will get easier. Please keep us posted on how things are going. Again, I am so sorry for your loss.

As I am sure that you know. I have been very busy today, trying to fill Gracci's paws. How did she do it with such a look of ease?? They are eating pretty well. Each of them are eating out of the same bowl and trying to keep up with how much each one is eating is impossible. They are also eating your famous "corn meal". lol They really make a big mess with that. lol Their personalities are really starting to show today. It is exciting watching each of them and making sure each one gets lots of love and kisses too. No signs of constipation, thank goodness. I think everyones prayers are really helping. They seem to be doing just fine and their daddy is awsome. He helps to wash their little faces with me. But he won't share his toys though...men. lol Thanks so much for everything you have done to make this easy for me!! And keep the prayers coming. Hugs and kisses from all of us!!
