She can move, but not very well. She can't stand up on her own yet. She does prefer to potty outside, though. If I say "go outside and go potty", she gets all excited and tries to get up. I put her down in the snow and I just have to support her chest and she gets herself into the position she needs to be in. She won't go on the wee wee pads.

Well, I would say her desire to go outside in the snow says something about her fighter personality!! She's got enough spirit in her to help get herself better. I hope the 2 of you can snuggle in with the other furbabies and keep warm

She is doing good ! I am so happy one day at a time for Princess Lucy~She will be up and going in no time and that beautiful hair will be back... Remember Bleu is shaved too we ought to have a hair growing contest hehe:)

Awwww to want to go out in the snow to potty. Bless her little heart.
You have some little fighter there. Lucy is a determined little one for sure
and that's exactally what she needs to get well again.

I think Lucy's doing a little better today. She actually stood up for about a second, before her right leg collapsed. I left for about a 1/2 an hour. When I got back, her blankets etc, were in such a mess that she must have been romping all over the playpen LOL She was really excited to see me, as was everyone else.

Its time to do the happy dance in TEXAS!!!

That is absolutely fantastic... Post pictures or email me when you can some pictures to my email and I will post them for you .. Every baby is different and their success stories will live on if I can help with posting pictures let me know...

My favorite is the second to the last her and Bleu have the same position.... I love it... She looks great... She is a doll ... Im glad she is making improvements daily... I look to see everyday how she is doing....Thank you for posting these pictures.... She is a princess..... I have a weakness for the girls ha!

I hope you are holding up well.. I know all about catching up on your rest and I am sure your schedule has changed dramaticlly from what it was before.... hang in there ....

Thank you for sharing the pictures. What a sweet girl Lucy is! Praying she continues to heal.

When will you have to return to the vet? Since she doesn't have a cast will they want to see her as often as Bleu went?

I am so glad to see that Lucy is doing better! Bless her sweet , little heart! she's so beautiful! I'll be praying for a complete and full recovery.

Could you use a sling harness for her. Probably not yet, but eventually? When my daughter's dog had the ruptured disc in his back, another yt'er offered hers to me. I am no longer using it and planned to pass it on to a dog in need. It was made by Pocomutt. If you'd like it, pm me your name and address and I'll send it to you.

I am just so happy to see these pictures of Lucy this morning and I really needed to read some good news too. I had such a bad dream after reading another thread last night that I woke up at 4:00 AM crying ....

I don't know how I missed this thread!! Just finished reading it and am truly amazed. Little Lucy is gorgeous and I am so thankful she is doing so well. I will pray for her continued and complete recovery. God bless you all.

The love a mother knows no boundaries.:2hearts2: So happy that little Lucy is showing improvement and is home. Lucy certainly does show a great fighting spirit as has been pointed out. That goes a long ways for humans and it counts for our little furbabies, too.:thumbup:
