I made him his rice and chicky and ate the chicky up fast and also gave him some Nutra Cal. He has been in and out of sleep all night and got one small burst of energy. But, for the most part has been sleeping all night...I worried:( Just kinda hoping he gives me some poops before we go to the vet so I can see how it is and bring it with us!

Sorry, but Pepto and Amoxicillan aren't the same thing, Pepto is an anti-diarrhea med, and Amoxicillan is an antibiotic;) Just didn't want anyone reading to think that they can substitute one for the other.

I just wanna say Thanksgiving Day I thought I would spoil Bleu and give him a piece of ham (GIVE) and girl I wish I had not have given it to him.... He got sick so I called my mom (Shes been through so much with babies) she said OH NO VICKI do not give that baby ham ever again... NO PORK... I am not sure why or anything else.. I just scratched it off my list... I thought I was being a good mommy by sharing but BOY O BOY was I wrong!

Please update this ... I wanna know how he is ....

Okay I just spoke with the vet he will be going in at 11AM she wants to see him TODAY! So I will let you guys know whats going on after, thank you for all your warm wishes and prayers!! I just hope its a silly upset tummy!! :hands:

:( Well we went to the Vet had his stool checked and he is fine:confused::confused::confused: As we drive home he pukes, and as we walk in the door now had full on diarrhea, like liquid and blew up 2 rooms. I am now more worried then I was before. She gave him 250mg of Metronidazole 1/4 tablet once a day, its supposed to help his stomach. But now that he puked and WONT eat I don't want to give him meds and him turn around and puke it up. To top it off my husband has officially PISSED me off and I just want to cry. :( I cannot STAND seeing my baby like this. Poor boy in the corner pushing for nothing to come out but what looks like liquid pee:eek: (sorry if I am being graphic but thats the truth). I called the vet and she was in with someone so I guess she is going to call me when she is done.

Not to mention I have had 5hrs of sleep in the past almost 2 days...I cannot sleep till I know he is okay...

Oh no - this is the first I am seeing this thread. I am so sorry to hear about Parker and I hope the vet calls you back soon. Something isn't right - maybe he's having a reaction to the meds?:confused: :confused: :confused: You did the right thing with the chicken and rice but don't know what to tell you now except wait for the vet to call.

Keep us posted and don't let your husband get to you...they don't get it.

She hasn't yet, I haven't given him the meds yet...I am too scared to with him getting sick. All he is doing now is pacing back and forth, back and forth and has the hick ups. And your RIGHT men don't get it, not at all I am shocked with him right now, but thats a different story another time. I am just focused on my baby...thank you so much, sorry if I sound bitter I am just exhausted and upset and I now know how so many other people feel when there baby is sick. :cry: I have been so blessed with a healthy boy, he has had perfect poo since the day I got him, and never puked other then once but it was a 8hr trip... this is all so new to me and just not Parker. :(

Girl I am so sorry.. I wanna tell you to rest but I know you wont.. I am praying for you and for Parker and hubby and I wish I knew exactly what to tell you .. My heart breaks for you and for Parker... I love that little guy.. His little bow tie makes me smile every time I see it...

Praying for Parker...poor little guy...we just went thru this with Abigaile...7 days to be exact with diarrhea...it was horrible...we bathed her at least 5 times a day or more...I hope he gets well really soon....

Poor little Parker! I hope he feels better soon. I'll keep checking back for updates.

I'd give him the metronidazole now with something small just to coat the pill or i'd pill him without food (put pill in back of mouth, close mouth, rub throat to make him swallow). The metronidazole will definitely help with the diarrhea, upset tummy, and vomiting.:thumbup:

wondering what the vet said & how Parker is. Don't want him to get dehydrated. I hope you've gotten some sleep

After I wrote my last message Parker snuggled up on my chest and we both feel asleep and just now woke up. I have searched the house for puke and poopies and we are CLEAR. I just gave him his chicken with his medicine in a piece, well he bit right into the pill and wont stop shaking his head...lol...silly boy, at least I know he ate it (the pill)! Well he just finished is Chicken up so thats a really good sign.:)


I just want to thank each and every one of you. I know sometimes people act extreme in extreme situations....or not so extreme. With us having to travel to the vet, the SUN (was actually pretty warm yesterday), and him just not feeling good he might have gotten a little car sick. Really I'll never no but for the next week I will be watching him like a hawk, throwing away the new cookies he got (or I can send them to one of you), and being EXTRA careful with my bugger!

When coming on YT and you bring your story to everyone sometimes your faced with the worse of the worse, since all of us have been through so many different things with our babies, and I believe reading the stories intensifies how you are feeling inside as you start to get paranoid. Plus my lack of sleep and my husbands lack of sleep I think EVERYTHING really intensified. Anyways I am rambling. I of course will keep all of you AWESOME friends of mine up to date with everything. HE is trotting around the house right now looking for some trouble to get into...so TYPICAL of my baby and scratching at my toes for me to get on the floor with him and play...we'll see how that goes. I would rather him just rest right now.

Again THANK you from the bottom of my heart, lets just pray today he keeps this up and keeps moving forward! I seriously LOVE YT and all the wonderful members that are on it, I am so blessed to be able to be here! :animal-pa:ghug:
