| Freaking out (posted in wrong area earlier) Lily is going to MSU on Monday the 11th for lp surgery and I am freaking out. I read all the posts about how hard the recovery is and I am so worried, I think I may have a panic attack. Is there anything any of you suggest to prepare, anything I must know? I got her a new bed for her crate I also ordered a bumper so she does not lean against the bars in her crate, I picked up some baby food in case she will not eat her food. I got a tub to put her in so I can take her from room to room with me. Also I have to go back to work on Thursday should I take her with me or will she be ok at home, I hate to think about leaving her. Please any help or suggestions would be great. I posted this in general earlier sorry!

| Good luck to you. FYI Baby food is one of things items on the lists of food, NOT to give your yorkie. You could boil some chicken or give boiled eggs or cottage cheese. |

| Is she having 1 leg or 2 legs done? Get a tiny baby blanket to use a sling to wrap under her belly to help her stand up to do potty. When you finally get her home, check her butt I know that sounds odd, but the 2nd time Roxy had her LP surgery, she was making a ting cry sound the whole car ride home. I was crying just listening to her, b/c I felt so bad that she had been in pain. Well, it turns out that at some point during her hospital stay she must have had really soft poop, and NO ONE cleaned her hinny. It was so raw and red, I had to buy Butt Paste for babies to help it heal. But that's why she was crying b/c her hinny hurt. Best of Luck |

| My vet had put my little one on a all baby food diet and it was the worse thing he could have done... TOO HIGH PROTEIN Needless to say we dont see that vet anymore! My breeder did the same thing.. She also sends all the babies home on Gerber chicken... IT IS TERRIBLE.... I thought it was so cute to go to Walmart and buy the Gerber Graduates but all I was doing was hurting my baby.. I am not a vet I only do what I was told to do.... .... Oh how I have learned! It seems so innocent... But is not good for your baby... Hope all turns out with LP sugery and recovery... Hugs
